Most people come to counselling because they want to change something about themselves or their lives. I believe that most of us can only change after we first understand who we truly are and how we really feel.

Without this awareness we can get stuck; repeating patterns of behaviour that may have kept us safe in the past but are not helpful now.

We may also try to force ourselves into a mould of how we think we should be. "Shoulds" that are shaped by the expectations of family, friends, work and the culture that we live in. Whilst relationships with others are important, it's easy to lose sight of what you want.

I am trained in Gestalt Psychotherapy to help you in understanding yourself through exploring how you are in contact with your life in the present moment, rather than being bound to what should be, could be or was. Our work together, either face to face in Ealing or online, will be founded on a non-judgmental, trusting, respectful and compassionate relationship between you and me.

As we work together, you'll likely discover new possibilities for choice and change that were previously hidden from view. Many clients find that Gestalt's experiential nature leads to insights that feel more meaningful and lasting than those gained through talking therapy alone.
